Sarah pointed out this recent cnn photo mismatch. The story’s about the us student and her italian boyfriend who are accused of murdering the student’s roommate. The link to this story was at the bottom of another story about the 11/29/07 Turkey plane crash. The link shows a picture of an african american guy with the headline “U.S. Student Must Stay Jailed in Italy” (http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/europe/11/30/turkey.jet/index.html?iref=mpstoryview).

But the U.S. student the story is talking about is female, and not black. And her boyfriend is not black either. Here’s a picture of the actual guy and the student:

The guy looks more like harry potter than the mistakenly juxtaposed dude. nice going cnn. If he was going to be misidentified, at least it should have been with someone who remotely resembled him. Like this:
